Awj TV began its journey in 2025. Driven by a passion to provide accurate reporting and preserve our cultural heritage, a small team assembled. We realised a need to establish a platform. This platform would give voice to those displaced and underrepresented.
Establishing a media outlet in exile presented unique challenges. Overcoming logistical obstacles and building trust with the community were immediate priorities. The commitment to ethical journalism and cultural preservation guided every decision.
Our early programming focused on news, current affairs, and cultural programming. We strive to cater to the needs of the Afghan community. Sharing stories and promoting understanding remains at the forefront of our mission. We want to keep cultural values alive.
Looking ahead, Awj TV is committed to expanding its reach. We aim to grow our programming, and further engage with the Afghan diaspora. Our goal is to remain a vital source of information, entertainment, and cultural connection for years to come.
